In order to enhance the professional competence and teaching theory application ability of young teachers, and deepen the reform of classroom teaching, on December 11th, 2025, the Junior High School Department of the east campus held a competition for young teachers to present problems, who actively participated, using the topic as a medium to jointly explore the teaching methods and jointly investigate the learning approaches.
Initially, before the competition, each subject group attached great significance to it, organizing teachers to deeply study the textbooks and examination guidelines, benchmarking against the trends of the Senior High School Entrance Examination questions, sorting out the patterns of the questions, and polishing the thinking process for presenting the solutions. Specifically, from interpreting the question stems to tracing the origins of the exam points, from the skills of solving the problems to the anticipation of students' learning situations, from expanding the variations to conducting teaching reflections, every step embodied the practical thinking of young teachers about teaching theories and the in-depth exploration of the Senior High School Entrance Examination preparation.
To be concrete, during the competition, the participating teachers were full of energy, showcasing their respective strengths. For instance, the Chinese language group teachers closely focused on the text, using typical questions from the modern literature reading section of the Senior High School Entrance Examination as a carrier, combined with the interpretation of the text to explain the answering techniques, delving into the analysis from word choice to the exploration of the main idea, layer by layer, to deeply understand the intention of the question setters; On the other hand, the mathematics group teachers had a clear logic, based on the frequently tested topics of the Senior High School Entrance Examination, applying mathematical thinking such as classification discussion and combining numbers and shapes, breaking down and categorizing complex problems; Besides, the physics and chemistry group teachers laid emphasis on the experimental principles, closely adhering to the examination patterns of the Senior High School Entrance Examination for experimental inquiry questions, closely integrating the scientific inquiry theory with the actual problem-solving steps; Meanwhile, the politics and history group teachers closely followed the current political hotspots and the core literacy requirements of the subjects, dissecting the answering logic of the material analysis questions, clarifying the 'material extraction - topic connection - standardized expression' problem-solving path; More remarkably, this time, the teachers from the physical education group actively participated. Based on the requirements of the Senior High School Entrance Examination in physical education and combined with relevant theories of sports training, they focused on breaking through the difficulties in students' training in endurance running, explaining the key points of the movements, and proposing effective strategies to enhance the training. Therefore, the participating teachers fully demonstrated their solid teaching foundation, professional teaching quality, and precise control of the examination direction.
In conclusion, this competition for problem-solving questions has provided a platform for young teachers to showcase themselves and engage in learning exchanges, which has effectively facilitated teachers' analysis of the patterns of Senior High School Entrance Examination questions, research on problem-solving strategies, and reflection on teaching theories. More noticeably, the Junior High School Department of the east campus will continue to take various teaching research activities as the main focus, promoting the rapid growth of young teachers through the integration of theory and practice, improving the quality of Senior High School Entrance Examination preparation, and injecting continuous vitality into the steady improvement of educational and teaching quality.
